Law has become an end into itself within legal theory and practice by law schools. This is a result of a new litmus test with “the ends justifying the means” becoming its focus. Included in that is the directive and practice of the “bearing of false witness” to accomplish those ends. This is what has been taught in law schools over the past 50 years. Because 90 percent of political holders of office having been taught their craft within law schools, it is not hard for one to see why there has been a breakdown in confidence by the public.
