As you have been taught and nurtured to judge, so shall you judge. That is, unless you obtain sustained 180-degree vision.

Who Does a Better Job?
Who do you think does, or has done, a better job of being a president or leader of a country, either nationally or internationally?
1. A seasoned business professional; or,
2. A seasoned politician
Why?
The ‘Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire’ Society
It will take more than”not bearing false witness” within the Judea/Christian tradition to create a greater good in which all people participate to evolve our current negative political/social situation dominated by both hatred and condemnation emotionally by almost everyone.
It will take awareness that comes from sustained 180-degree insight found throughout this blog, and the book Leadership: Where Business Ethics Begin.
It will take awareness of the Judea/Christian directive to not only not “bear false witness” intentionally, but not to perpetrate that false witness by having the awareness to identify a lie when it is presented initially.
One must come to a non-emotional, objective determination to NOT incorporate it (a lie) into one’s belief system because of a lack of the appropriate knowledge and information that shapes belief.
Bearing false witness is the act of believing that which does not exist on the physical, mental emotional, psychological level.
WHAT must be done at this point?
Eliminate lying, teach truth, and re-teach!
Charlie Kirk and 180-Degree Vision
I had the chance to observe Charlie Kirk. In every instance, he demonstrated a sustained level of 180-degree vision.
Criticism and the Tradition of Negative Communication
Taking the idea of criticism a step future, one can see how people who are raised and educated to criticize will have a tendency to carry on that tradition of negative communication without the awareness to identify and overcome that characteristic.
How to overcome what can be called “negative criticism” as a tradition is found in the book Leadership: Where Business Ethics Begin, as well as a description of the root causes that lead to a life of inappropriate judgement.
They are also found within this blog in discussions focused on the negative criticism and communication found emanating from the November 6, 2024 presidential election.
Compounding this criticism is the fact that within the Judaeo/Christian tradition is the directive that we should “not bear false witness” to a person, people, activity, or event such as what recently occurred with the statement by Jimmy Kimmel as a practical example. In this case, bearing (saying) a false politically motivated statement was known to be false and misleading.
That is why as stated in past blogs that if “American principled education” is not provided in our homes or in our schools, then inappropriate criticism ends up shaping our society into what we are experiencing today with what can really be called evil actions.
An example of the above as evil emanating as action is the tragic events surrounding the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Are You Living a Life of Criticism?
Without sustained 180-degree vision, one can lead a life of criticism without ever being aware of it. To criticize and be criticized becomes the order of the day.
This is not to say that the act of judging or the effect of observing objectively results in what seems like criticism, but rather the root cause or motivating factor of criticism is what matters.
What is important with criticism is that one must deal with it from sustained 180-degree vision (see Leadership: Where Business Ethics Begin), as well as how it is applied. See the blog comments beginning with What Happened in the November National Election, posted on November 22, 2024.
Purity of one’s heart is all important and is needed to move beyond an environment of criticism.
Remembering Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs was truly a creative powerhouse. The why of that statement is what a whole spectrum of educators, consultants and business leaders are now trying to understand. The answer is very basic. Steve’s creativity and behavior was a result of having come to realizations that resulted in what I call 180-degree leadership vision. It is a function of the root causes that move us to create something of value within the human condition.
